In January of 2006, I recorded Sequoia, a Kewlona-based musician and alternative healer, playing a variety of instruments. One such instrument was the tanpura. I recorded Sequoia performing a dhrupad, or a Hindu prayer set to music, using the tanpura and her singing. This was done in Studio A at the Center for Arts and Technology - Kelowna/Okanagan
